We are 6 months into 2023, how has it been for you so far?

This year has been good so far, can't really complain. I've been busy working on my music and enjoying the journey.

Where did you grow up and how did that influence your music?

I grew up in an estate in Tottenham called Broadwater Farm, and it had a significant influence on my music. Many talented artists from my area have achieved success, and I always looked up to them. Their achievements inspired me to pursue my passion for music.

Has it always been music? Did you ever imagine doing anything else with your career?

Initially, I wanted to be a footballer, but music was always a hobby and a passion of mine from a young age. As time went on, my love for music grew stronger, and I realized that pursuing a career in the music industry was my true calling.

Do you have a dream project/collaboration?

Definitely! My dream collaboration would be with Adele. I admire her talent and the depth in her music. I’d love to collaborate with her, that’d be sick!

Gaining popularity at a young age can be quite daunting. How has that been for you?

It's been calm for me because I had already experienced popularity in other aspects of my life before entering the music industry. Being the popular kid in my own environment prepared me to handle the attention that comes with fame. However, whether I'm popular or not, I think it's always important to stay grounded and focused on my music.

What has been your favorite moment in your career so far?

Performing at the Reading and Leeds Festival has been the highlight of my career so far. The energy and connection with the crowd is an experience I'll never forget.

Apart from music, what are your passions?

Outside of music, I'm passionate about playing football. It's a great way for me to unwind and stay active. Football has always been a big part of my life, and I enjoy it as much as I do music.

Let's talk about your latest single titled "M.A.R.K." What does this song mean to you?

This song holds a lot of personal meaning for me because some parts of the lyrics are dedicated to my late father. It's a way for me to express my emotions and honor his memory through my music.

What would you like your listeners to take with them after hearing "M.A.R.K."?

I would like my listeners to see the growth in my music and recognize that I have a story to tell. Through this song, I hope they can connect with my experiences and find inspiration to stay strong in their own lives.

How would you say this single differs from your previous releases?

I wouldn't say it differs significantly, but "M.A.R.K." is a special single for me because I poured my heart into it. It showcases my growth and the progression in my sound.

Do you feel like your style of music is changing as you get older?

Definitely, as I grow older, my style of music evolves. With age comes new experiences and perspectives, which naturally influence my creativity. I'm always exploring different flows and experimenting with my sound.

How would you describe your personal style in three words?

Drip, clean, and smart. I take pride in what I wear and try to always look polished.

You are a part of OFB. How would you say you've all grown individually and together over the years?

We've all experienced personal growth in different ways as individuals within OFB. Each member of the group has developed their own unique style, lyrical abilities, and artistic vision. Individually, over the years, we’ve all honed our skills.

At the same time, as a collective, we have grown together. We’ve learned to understand each other's strengths and weaknesses, allowing us to collaborate more effectively. We’ve improved our teamwork and communication, which is evident in the synergy and cohesiveness of our music.

People can see that we are a unified group, working together towards a common goal.

Have you ever looked back at a fit and thought, "What was I thinking?"

Never once! I've always been confident in my fashion choices. Of course, trends come and go, and personal styles evolve over time, but I embrace the journey and the different fashion phases I've gone through.

Do you own any "lucky charms"?

Nope, I don't have any specific lucky charms. I believe that success comes from hard work, dedication, and talent rather than relying on objects or superstitions. I trust in my abilities and strive to create my own luck through my actions and the energy I put into my craft.

Can you name one clothing item you own that holds a special meaning? Something in your closet that you will never replace?

I love my Amiri and Louis Vuitton pieces! These brands hold a special place to me because they represent my journey and success in the music industry. Each item I own from these brands is a reminder of my hard work paying off, so I have a bit of a sentimental attachment to them, and I don't think I'll ever replace them.

That's great to hear! Thank you for sharing your insights and experiences with us. Is there anything else you'd like to add before we wrap up?

I just want to express my gratitude to all my fans and supporters who have been with me on this journey. Your love and encouragement mean the world to me, and I'm committed to continuing to create music that resonates with you. Stay tuned for more exciting projects and collaborations in the future. Thank you for having me!
