In the vibrant neighbourhood of Apgujeong, Seoul, lies Kompakt Record Bar, a distinctive establishment that opened its doors in April 2018. This intimate venue offers more than just beverages; it provides carefully curated music by talented DJs. The bar is under the guidance of Jinmoo Choi, a graphic designer and accomplished DJ with over twenty years of experience. When conceptualising the name, Choi sought a single word that would capture the essence of the bar's compact space.

This upcoming Friday, a special event awaits as Patta co-founder Edson Sabajo graces the DJ booth. Widely regarded as a legend in the industry, DJ Edzon, alias Edson Sabajo, has been a driving force behind turntables since the early 90s. As a co-founder of Patta and a pioneer in the scene, Sabajo will deliver an impeccable set filled with an exquisite selection of hip-hop, soul, and funk.
